During my time in the MyPlanet Fellowship my team was tasked with the opportunity to design a fully accessible site for the Toronto initiative Equal Grounds.
After thorough research about the new accessibility standards that were coming in to effect, and multiple interviews with the differently-abled and employers we decided to build a single page, simple and high-contrast site. It can be fully tabbed-through, as that is a very common way for people with impairments to interact with web pages. All text is coded to allow for accessibility readers and large enough for vision impairments.
